ESGARD FLANGE BANDS STAINLESS STEEL AND MARINE / INDUSTRIAL PLASTIC FLANGE PROTECTORS - Stainless steel and plastic flange protectors that, when used with Esgard Flange Kote, effectively seals the annular between fastened flanges and protect the flange bolts from deterioration by rust and corrosion.   Esgard Flange Bands were developed with the assistance of pipeline and oil industry personnel to fit correctly and function properly.   This, in turn, reduces costly maintenance such as painting maintenance of flanges and flange bold replacement.

 

 STRAP   -   Stainless steel - 22 ga Type 316.

 Plastic - Vinyl coated .060" marine/industrial atmosphere resistant. Available in black or white.

 CLAMPS   -    316 stainless steel with quick-release feature.

 FASTENING  HARDWARE  -  305/316 stainless steel rivets/washers.

 GREASE FITTINGS  -   305 stainless steel.

  RELIEF FITTINGS    -    305 stainless steel.

 LINER    -   1/4" closed cell neoprene sponge.

APPLICATION

Esgard flange kote - a mastic formula specifically designed to fill the annular between two fastened flanges. Esgard Flange kote will not bleed, dry, or crack with age.

Apply Flange kote through an esgard flange band with a grease gun designed to fit a 5 gallon pail. Do not dillute. Several types are as follows:

                        Manual:     Model 1292 (Lincoln)
                                           Model 854 (Balcrank)

                        Pneumatic:      Model 989 (Lincoln)
                                                 Model 754 (Balcrank)

 

 TYPE -  Rust-inhibitive compound. 

 DENSITY - 9.57 lb/gal (1/15 kg/l)

 VISCOSITY - NLGI Grade 1 (one) grease

 VOLUME SOLIDS - 100%

 FLASH POINT - 325EF (163EC) COC
